Terms and conditions — Finlatte

1. Permitted use — Tech Creative Ltd only

Finlatte is private internal software. It is NOT to be used by anyone other than Tech Creative Ltd. You must not copy, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or otherwise make Finlatte available to any other organisation or individual without prior written authorisation from Tech Creative Ltd. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

2. Nature of the software

Finlatte is a macOS desktop application for Tech Creative Ltd's own business finance workflows, including preparing and submitting UK VAT (Making Tax Digital) information to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) where authorised. It is not a public consumer product and is not offered as multi-customer software-as-a-service.

3. Acceptance

By installing or using Finlatte on a Mac controlled by Tech Creative Ltd, you confirm you are acting for Tech Creative Ltd and agree to these terms. If you are not authorised by Tech Creative Ltd, you must not use the software and should uninstall it.

4. Your responsibilities

• Keeping figures accurate before submitting anything to HMRC
• Keeping the Mac and credentials secure (macOS account, FileVault where appropriate, API secrets, and OAuth sessions)
• Using sandbox credentials for testing and production credentials only when HMRC has approved live access
• Complying with HMRC terms, UK tax law, and UK GDPR as they apply to Tech Creative Ltd

5. HMRC and third-party services

Connecting to HMRC or Monzo is optional and subject to those providers' own terms. Tech Creative Ltd remains responsible for data submitted to HMRC and for any authorisations granted via OAuth.

6. No warranty

Finlatte is provided "as is" for Tech Creative Ltd's internal use. Tax outcomes remain the responsibility of Tech Creative Ltd; calculations and HMRC responses should be checked carefully.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Creative Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Finlatte, except where liability cannot be excluded (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

8. Intellectual property

Finlatte, its branding, and related materials are owned by Tech Creative Ltd (or used under licence). These terms do not transfer ownership to any other party.

9. Termination

Tech Creative Ltd may stop use of Finlatte at any time. Unauthorised users must cease use immediately on request.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated on this website and in the software. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance by authorised operators of Tech Creative Ltd.
